A versão 16 do jomsocial já tá sendo testada no site e vai ser lançada durante os próximos dias, e garantem que a versão 16 vai ser totalmente diferente... por isso não sei se a tradução da versão 15 vai servir, acho q não...

JomSocial 1.6 RC is now available for download

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and a nice rest. I hope you're still in celebration mood because we have something special for you!


We are proud to announce that JomSocial 1.6 is entering the final testing stage and should be ready for public release soon. We've worked very hard on this release and we believe, this would be our best release ever.

So, what changes can you expect from the JomSocial 1.6 ? Well, the list of changes would not fit this email, but suffice to say, if there is one word to describe it, it would be "refinement".

Existing features has been extensively refined and tuned. Better privacy support all around. Default template has been refreshed with improved usability and more consistent look throughout the component. We have also added support for Amazon S3 storage so you can offload photos and videos to Amazon servers. Activity stream has also receive an interesting make-over and will now display summary of selected activity. We will of course, release the full changes along with the final release.

If you are feeling a bit adventurous, and if you are an existing customer, you may download this release candidate from the beta forum. Existing customer may find the password within your download page at http://www.jomsocial.com/download.html

Be adviced that, although it works extremely well, you should NOT use this build on production site and is purely for evaluation purposes. Make sure you have made proper backup before installing this build. Do leave your feedback for this release candidate at the forum.

Tomara que possamos aproveitar algo da tradução da versão 1.5 do JomSocial.

No mais, terei de usar a versão 1.5 - assim como muitos da comunidade - por muito tempo ainda, pois nem sei se vale a pena adquirir uma versão nova, mesmo que esta seja uma grande evolução.

Apesar de que não entendo muito bem como funciona a compra do produto, pois não foi eu que paguei... Rsss... Foi meu chefe.

Quem sabe quem comprou a versão 1.5 também possa ter sua versão atualizada.

estive a testar um pouco a nova versao 1.6 do jomsocial e não vi grandes diferenças com a actual.

E o ficheiro de tradução funcionou por isso á primeira vista continua tudo traduzido para português.

Alguém sabe quais são as grandes alterações e modificações desta versão?

Olá pessoal,

Como eu faço para conseguir substituir os arquivos no FTP na pasta language.
Já tentei atribuir direitos para subscrever os arquivos mais não consigo. Alguém tem alguma dica?
