Qual a vantagem de usar o NGINX?

Para quem não sabe ele é um servidor web, igual ao apache...

Roda. Eu uso ele também. Meu host adquiriu esses NGINXs e eu migrei pra ele pois disseram que era muito mais rápido que os Apaches .... tinha um artigo eu só não achei, se procurar no [url:3c58shha]http://www.kinghost.com.br/[/url:3c58shha]deve achar o artigo, explicava direitinho ...

Diferença do NGinx se precisa alterar algumas configurações do .htacess para rodar perfeitamente as URL´s Amigavéis, mais por enquanto eu nem sei qual beneficios

Servidor tende a ser 10x mais rapido que o Apache.

A JoomlaClube roda no nginx a mais de 1 ano. E funciona normalmente URL amigáveis do joomla.
