The chests contain items that
OSRS Gold
are only available for one time. I found some chests when I was exploring the dungeon in Edgeville. My excitement grew as I opened them and looked inside but found nothing. I believe that dungeons' chests should contain one-time items such as strength potions, perhaps swordfish or lobsters. So that every player can only use the items once. This makes exploration more enjoyable.
You might ask? It would be an incredible amount of enjoyment. It could be a reason to visit places that you would not normally visit. It would also be a lot of entertainment. It would make the dungeons feel like RPG dungeons. Also really valuable chests would be much harder to get.
A different approach to the original idea. Additionally, every chest doesn't have to have an item only enough to make it worthwhile to take the scenic route. Maybe 2 or 3. For example, make every item that you take out of the chest non-tradable. If you get a Strength potion from the chest, you can make it untradeable.
Argument to counter "devaluation and items" argument. The chests won't be sought after by more than 25% Runescape residents. If you subtract the Skillers, and add many PvPers, it's likely that these chests won't be pursued by any more than 25% of the players. Moderately valuable items will be moderately difficult to get likely dropping the number of people getting these chests again. I'm not sure how many treasure chest hunters will be able to go straight to the GE with the items and

then sell them, but it's likely perishable items will be utilized instead by the person who has it.
