Formulário de cadastro sem confirmação

Olá Pessoal,

Estou com uma página em Joomla 1.5 e minha dúvida é quanto ao cadastro de usuários. Gostaria de saber de vcs se existe algum problema, seja ele qual for, se eu deixar que o internauta realize o cadastro sem a necessidade de um e-mail de confirmação. Como o público alvo são pessoas de mais idade, acredito que este e-mail de confirmação vá dificultar a realização do cadastro.

Amigo, não existe problema algum. A única coisa que pode acontecer, é ter alguns cadastros fantasmas pois sem confirmação, qualquer um poderá preencher o form e enviar e já estarão cadastrados.. Mas fora isso... nao tem problemas não. É questão de segurança mesmo.
