Imagens não aparecem nos artigos (só o nome) Joomla 1.5.26

Uso o Editor JCE 1.5.6 e quando tento introduzir uma imagem no artigo só aparece o nome.
Outra situação quando tento ver as imagens através do Gestor de Média dentro data pasta stories TODAS as imagens só contém o nome não aparece o priview como acontece dentro da pasta Media\M-Images.
Assim quando tento introduzir a imagem pelo icon do editor (iInsert /Edit image) dentro do artigo, e vou explorar as imagens na pasta Food na caixa detalhes do ficheiro seleccionado, não aparece o seu preview mas sim um ponto de interrogração.
Dentro da caixa detalhes clico em View File abre a caixa para vizualizar o ficheiro mas fica como bloqueado a tentar a abrir o ficheiro de imagem, mas não o abre.
