I doubt it's the
New Horizons Items
case, but I would be legit mad if this turned out to be the rationale. Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy swap out their entire cast of characters every game (with just the occasional direct sequel), however they're still allowed multiple reps from precisely the exact same game. Zelda has sooooo several one-game-only characters which would still fit great into Smash, just look at the roster of both Hyrule Warriors games.
The"hard r" is not even close to the worst shit people used to say. Honestly the fact people find that word offensive now is hilarious to me because of how absolutely tame it seems to me relative to the old stuff. The"everything is offensive" Twitter kids could not even handle a fraction of what everyone used to say.
That is why you'll hear some self censorship from everyone on twitch cause there are things we used to state Twitch will level ban you for and when you are raging all your most angsty adolescent anger is precisely what springs to mind if you want to let lose a series of insults. Being an adult is just with the self control to never state that and say something less offensive or nothing in any way.
But man I would not want to become a young teenager now. Our shit was only starting to be around the world wide web back when communities were smaller and we could go delete stuff we mentioned or used different names for everything. If you are even decent at whatever everyone knows who you are and screencaps any somewhat offensive thing you ever say.
Man if they
buy Animal Crossing Items
might have been in a number of the high level halo scrims I was in back then everyone there could be perma-cancelled.
